Testimonials
“The Stars of New York Dance is an incredible program that provides support for those young people throughout our community who have the creative talent and brilliance, but just need to make sure they’ve been given the opportunity to nurture, develop and showcase it. That is exactly what The Stars of New York Dance does. It is my honor to support this organization and I look forward to continuing to do so because of the amazing good that it does for our community.”
— House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries + 10th Annual Stellar Humanitarian Honoree
"The Stars of New York Dance is an organization that shares my belief of giving young people access to dance and the arts which can literally change their lives in the most amazing ways. My experience as a young dancer and actor helped me build my confidence, work ethic and definitely contributed to every aspect of my life, on-screen, on stage, and off. I am incredibly grateful for this honor.”

“It's great for young people to see community leaders, legislators and people they see on TV get out of our element and do something unique for children. If I can make a fraction of an impact on young people that James Brown made on me, I'll dance."
